Canadas final Olympic synchronized swimming theme will be a crowd pleaser in London this summer: FIFA World Cup Soccer. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Black Friday Jersey . The team unveiled its team technical program theme in Toronto on Monday, the final of four routines -- two duet, two team -- to be teased out ahead of this summers Olympic competition. The last theme was also the most difficult to nail down. "You can pick a theme any year, but this is our Olympic theme," team member Tracy Little told CTVOlympics.ca. "I remember sitting there for two months trying to think of the music and the theme. We couldnt stop thinking if we could get better. Even after we chose one, we wondered." "Oh my god it was so difficult," added Julie Sauvé, the teams coach. "We were just thinking, What will the people like in London? To shock them, you know? And what is the most popular thing over there? And finally it came to us." After a fourth-place finish in the team competition at the Beijing Games in 2008, the team has a goal of top-3 for London 2012. The hope is that a local theme will tug on the heartstrings of a predominantly British audience and, in turn, impress the judges. For this reason, all movements, music and aesthetic details will follow the same theme. Canadas swimmers will wear brightly coloured bathing suits featuring the silhouette of a soccer player and the recognizable ball. Robyn Gayle, a member of Canadas national womens soccer team, attended the Synchro Canada announcement and traded gear -- a Soccer Canada scarf for a Synchro Canada towel -- in a symbolic gesture of friendship between the two Canadian teams. Earlier this year, a second-place finish at the CONCACAF Olympic qualifier solidified Canadas spot in the womens soccer competition. "I think its really cool and a great idea for them," Gayle said of Synchro Canadas new theme. "Everyone knows that England is sort of the soccer capital of the world, and I think its exciting for us and I know my teammates and I personally am looking forward to seeing more of the routine. "We saw little snippets of it here today but itll be really cool to see how they incorporate soccer into synchro." The Olympic team synchronized swimming competition consists of two programs: one technical and one free routine. The team technical is the shorter -- and often the drier -- of the two. "In a technical routine, its really hard to go artistic because you dont have a lot of time," explained Little. "You have elements everywhere, and its short. But we made ours so it will appear as a free routine. It doesnt look boring and technical. "Weve taken pieces from so many different [audio] clippings and songs to make it like its a real soccer game. So theres a lot of scoring and cheering and whistling and penalties." At one point, team members say they even considered wearing jerseys with famous soccer players names written across the back. A discovery that the names would be a rule violation dissuaded the the team. For Sauvé, who also choreographs the teams routines, one big challenge in program development was immediately evident. "Id never been to a soccer game before," she said. "So I had to go see one." Sauvé took a trip to see the Montreal Impact, where she says she was inspired by the movements of the players on the field. "The way they run … knees up or the chest, the head. We took the movements from there and we put them in our routine. And you can tell from there that its a soccer movement." Synchro Canada is keeping its programs, elements and moves secret ahead of the Olympic competition in hopes that a surprise will yield better results -- and fewer copycats -- at the Games. They will, however, perform one closed "water show" in Montreal later this month. The duet free program will be performed to a "Jester" theme while the technical is called "Zipper." The team free routine, released last week, was inspired by Cirque du Soleil. Michael Floyd Jersey . Schalke general manager Horst Heldt said Thursday that he made an offer to extend Rauls contract, which expires at the end of the season, in an email to the Spaniards representative, Gines Carvajal. Mike Quick Eagles Jersey . But the heptathlete plans to move out of her Calgary home while shes competing. Zelinka wants to avoid distractions and concentrate on her seven events over two days. http://www.jerseyschinacheap.us.com/ . Sinclair may not be cleared to play Thursday against France, a match the Canadians cant afford to lose if theyre to advance at the FIFA Womens World Cup -- and theres little the 28-year-old can do about it except hope. DeAndre Hopkins Black Friday Jersey . He returned from a broken collarbone and is taking aim at a post-season run, even if it took one big pass to get there. Rodgers fired a 48-yard touchdown to Randall Cobb in the final minute, and the Packers beat the Chicago Bears 33-28 to capture the NFC North championship on Sunday. Andre Johnson Jersey .Y. -- The underachieving Buffalo Sabres began retooling for the future by trading defenceman Jordan Leopold to the contending St.BASEL, Switzerland -- Vancouvers Vasek Pospisil lost a bid for the first ATP final of his career on Saturday at the Swiss Indoors as he stretched Roger Federer to the limit in a 6-3, 6-7(7), 7-5 loss. The 40th-ranked Pospisil, who played his quarter-final a day earlier after treatment for a stiff neck, suffered his second career loss against Federer. He lost to Federer at Montreal in 2011. "Its not easy to play someone you basically worshipped growing up," said Pospisil. "You want to win but you have a great amount of respect. "Its tough to compete if you give too much respect. I was battling with myself a bit." Pospisil put up a huge fight on Saturday, breaking the home hero as Federer served for the win leading a set and 5-3 in the second. Federer sent a forehand long to make it 5-4, with Pospisil then winning a tiebreaker for a set each. It took a ten minute game in the third set, with Posipisil saving three break points, before Federer could move into position to close out the match. "I calmed down a bit in the second set and started playing better," said Pospisil. "Physically I was very tired but there were no new injuries. "Roger is a champion and he came up with some really good shots when he needed them, That made the difference. he played great on the big points." Pospisil still takes away huge confidence heading to Paris and the final event of the ATP regular season starting Monday. He is trying to lift his ranking into the top 32 tto insure a seeding at Januarys Australian Open. Bo Jackson Raiders Jersey. With a victory in Sundays final, the sixth-ranked Federer will also secure his place at the ATP Finals in London in just over a week, closing his most difficult season beset by back injuries and shocking defeats to lower-ranked opponents. Federer improved his season record to 40-13, his fewest wins since he posted a 49-21 mark in 2001, the year he turned 20. Pospisil was playing his third career semifinal and could not have asked for a more demanding challenge as Federer is a five-time Swiss Indoors champion. Pospisil has a 17-17 record this season. Earlier, defending champion Juan Martin del Potro also let the second set slip away against an unseeded opponent before beating Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France 6-4, 4-6, 6-2. Federer seeks to reclaim the title taken by the fifth-ranked del Potro last year. "Its always a pleasure for me," del Potro said about the prospect of playing Federer. "I know all the people are waiting for that final and it would be like a rematch for him." Del Potro has a 4-13 career record against Federer, though he has won their past two meetings, both on indoor hard courts at Basel and London a year ago. He also clinched his only Grand Slam title, the 2009 U.S. Open, against the Swiss star. Asked about Federers comments this week that he needed to improve, del Potro suggested: "It doesnt matter what he says -- its Roger Federer and he is playing in his hometown." \' \' \'
