Most football fans would love to me an NFL general manager.
Here are the players I would select if I were the general manager of each NFL
team.
1. Detroit Lions - Jason Smith
Raiders
Donald Penn Jersey , Offensive Tackle, Baylor: I like to build from
the ground up, and I see major potential in Smith. His tight end background will
serve him well at the tackle position and he's the best offensive lineman in the
draft.
2. St. Louis Rams - Michael Crabtree, Wide Receiver, Texas Tech:
As Rams GM, I'd want Smith. If he was gone, I'd take the best player available.
In my opinion, that's Michael Crabtree.
3. Kansas City Chiefs - Aaron
Curry, Linebacker, Wake Forest: Curry is the best defensive player in this draft
and the Chiefs could really use help on that side of the ball.
4. Seattle
Seahawks - Eugene Monroe, Offensive Tackle, Virginia: The Seahawks need someone
to protect Matt Hasselbeck and Monroe is already a great pass blocker. He has
the talent to be a top lineman in the league.
5. Cleveland Browns - Brian
Orakpo, Defensive End, Texas: Eric Mangini supposedly doesn't like Brady Quinn
or Derek Anderson very much and the team would probably pounce on Stafford if he
was on the board. I, on the other hand
Raiders
Gabe Jackson Jersey , like Quinn and would go for the draft's best
pass rusher in Orakpo.
6. Cincinnati Bengals - Andre Smith, Offensive
Tackle, Alabama: I'm not a huge fan of drafting guys with character issues, but
Smith was so dominant all season for the Red Tide that he's hard to resist for a
team that so desperately need a tackle. The Bengals need to protect their best
player, Carson Palmer, and Smith could definitely take care of that if he stays
motivated.
7. Oakland Raiders - Jeremy Maclin, Wide Receiver, Missouri: I
don't love Maclin, but the Raiders desperately need a wide receiver. He's an
electric talent that should sell a lot of NFL tickets.
8. Jacksonville
Jaguars - Mark Sanchez, Quarterback, USC: That's right, I prefer Mark Sanchez to
Matthew Stafford. I'm also not sold on David Garrard, and since Crabtree and
Maclin are off the board, I'd go with Sanchez as the quarterback of the future
in Jacksonville.

When learning the martial arts, especially if you want to be
effective Raiders
Marquette King Jersey , you need to learn the gains and limitations
of the two kinds of punches. Knowing these punches will proscribe and dictate
your combat strategy. Knowing these punches will effect your training and
enlighten you as as a Martial Artist.
A thrusting punch is the first kind of punch. A thrusting punch is like a
train running into something and going through. Simply, there is no back off,
and the punch goes through.
Now, the problem with the thrusting punch is…what happens to all the cars
behind the train? They all collide, stack up, and become a mess. Thus, a
thrusting punch, while in theory the unstoppable force, does risk becoming a
mess.
Once delivered, a thrusting punch, is now entangled. The body behind the
punch, unless the legs have moved the whole body forward, risks becoming
unbalanced. Thrust, and you are forced to commit your body to the action, and
possibly be overcommitted.
A snapping punch is the second type of punch. Imagine a jackhammer striking
cement Raiders
Rod Streater Jersey , but only impacting once and then holding off.
It hits, damages as much as possible, and then retreats.
Now, the problem with the snapping punch is…not enough weight. The body
doesn’t have time to move into the action, and so does not commit weight to the
punch. You retain balance while punching, but were you really effective?
Now, a thrusting punch is a strategy involving moving your body, committing
it to the action, using your entire weight, and god help you if you miss because
you’re going to be out of place and unbalanced. The snapping punch is a strategy
where you risk little, but don’t always do the damage you wish to. The main
point here is the fact of committing weight, a thrust punch commits weight, but
takes fifty per cent of the shock back up the arm, the snapping punch gives less
weight, but 95% of the weight will be left in the body of the opponent.
So we have to continuously assess which is better Raiders
Marcel Reece Jersey , the thrusting punch, or the snapping punch.
Each punch has bad points and good, and you’re going to have to gauge balance
versus stability, commitment versus noncommitment, weight versus speed, weight
left in the body versus weight backed up the arm, potential follow ups,
positioning, and so on and so on. When you’re done exploring all these
possibilities, however, you’re going to have the right punch for the right
situation.
