weather, though, nothing has been routine and T  发帖心情 Post By:2014-11-29 13:57:58

SAN FRANCISCO - Embattled Texans quarterback Matt Schaub might be better off hitting the road and getting out of Houston for the weekend. Thurman Thomas Black Friday Jersey . Many of his so-called supporters are practically calling for his head. Or, at least, for backup T.J. Yates. A big sign above one freeway blares "Cut Schaub!" Watch the game live on TSN. Coverage begins at 7pm et/4pm pt with Football Night in America. "Any loss is painful and you dont enjoy it," defensive end J.J. Watt said. "We have a very good football team. Theres no issue with focus or intensity at all." Schaub has thrown pick-6s in three straight games. "I dont have time to really even process any of that because its on to the next one in our world," Schaub said. "You dont have time to look in the rearview mirror and think about your past, good or bad." Now, things get even tougher as they visit Candlestick Park to take on the San Francisco 49ers (2-2). "We expect him to go out there and prepare for us all week as if his life relies on it," 49ers safety Donte Whitner said. "Right now, if he goes out there and makes more mistakes, it probably will." San Francisco understands all the scrutiny and sense of panic from fans. It was crisis mode for the 49ers until they snapped a two-game losing streak with a 35-11 road rout of the Rams. That after being held to 10 total points in the first consecutive losses of coach Jim Harbaughs tenure. "The fact of the matter in the National Football League is you lose a couple of games in a row, youre in a rut, youre in big trouble," Whitner said. "They can say that about us a couple weeks ago when we lost a couple in a row, and it was true. Same thing goes for the Texans." Here are five things to watch for in Sundays prime-time matchup: NO IDENTITY CRISIS HERE: Just when everybody began questioning the NFC champion Niners defence — a unit missing linebacker Aldon Smith as he undergoes treatment for substance abuse, and injured All-Pro Patrick Willis — the group came back with a big performance. With NaVorro Bowman leading the way in Willis absence, San Francisco returned to that swarming, run-stopping defence that has defined the team in recent seasons. Bowman had five tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble against St. Louis. "The last couple years thats what this team has been built on, stopping the run and running the football," defensive end Justin Smith said. "It just seems like that St. Louis game, thats our calling card, thats our identity." GORE ON A ROLL: Harbaugh is all about getting the ball to Frank Gore. No criticism of his touches now. Not after the 49ers franchise rushing leader gained 153 yards on 20 carries with a touchdown at St. Louis. Gore typically builds off a big game. "I think its a positive. I think Frank knows who he is as a player and what hes capable of," Harbaugh said. "We know hes capable of that. He knows hes capable of that. And our offensive line knows hes capable of that. No question that everybodys inspired by what he does. Nobody does it like Frank Gore." MENACING MR. WATT: J.J. Watt has drawn comparisons to San Francisco counterpart Justin Smith for the way they each wreak havoc on opposing offences. Harbaughs assessment: "He can ruin a game for his opponent." This week, Watt is nursing a broken nose that needed six stitches. "Theres going to be blood," Watt said. "Im not out here doing cheerleading." Watt certainly appreciates the compliments and comparisons with fellow All-Pro Smith. "I have a lot of respect for Justin Smith, I love the way he plays the game, love the way he goes about his business," Watt said. PRIME-TIME FOLKS: These teams draw their share of prime-time opportunities. Thats how it goes for the two-time defending AFC South champion Texans and the two-time reigning NFC West champion Niners. San Francisco has lost its last two Sunday night games, both at Seattle. The 49ers are playing their third prime-time contest in four games, while Houston makes its second such appearance of 2013. "Its a big game for us," Schaub said. "We need to get those weeks out of our system and we need to get a win — whether its home, away, at a neutral site, against whoever." DAVIS HANDS: Vernon Davis remembers plenty from the last time the 49ers played Houston nearly four years ago. The tight end, then in his fourth NFL season, had his first three-touchdown game in the 24-21 loss. Davis is San Franciscos second-leading receiver this season behind Anquan Boldin, with 11 catches for 136 yards and three touchdowns. ____ AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org Fans burned Schaubs jersey after the Texans (2-2) failed on two overtime opportunities in a demoralizing 23-20 home defeat to unbeaten Seattle last week. MLB Jerseys Black Friday 2014 . Sanchez, 30, appeared in five games for the Pirates this season, and went 0-3 with an 11.85 ERA. He worked 2 1-3 innings Monday against the Brewers and allowed two runs on four hits, including two home runs. 2014 Black Friday Raiders Jerseys Deals . Roberts, 34, last played in a baseball game on May 16, 2011. Since that time, the two-time All-Star has languished on the disabled list. Although hes taken batting practice and fielded grounders with the Orioles, playing in a game -- albeit one with Double-A Bowie -- is a far more legitimate test of his readiness to return to the big leagues. http://www.officialnflonlineshop.com/Black-Friday-Green-Bay-Packers-Eddie-Lacy-Jersey-Cyber-Monday/ .com) - The Montreal Canadiens embark on their first road trip of the season as they head out west to battle the Calgary Flames on Wednesday night. Cecil Shorts III Jersey . Brayden Point and Alexander Chirva also scored for Moose Jaw (6-7-3), while Zachary Sawchenko finished with 23 saves. Griffin Foulk, Tyler Wong and Axel Blomqvist had singles for Lethbridge (2-11-2), and Boes stopped 35 shots. Peyton Manning Jersey . -- After the Anaheim Ducks went on a frantic six-week sprint just to make the post-season, Teemu Selanne thinks its understandable they couldnt maintain that breakneck pace going into their playoff opener.DENVER -- Finally out of the frigid weather, Carlos Gonzalez reclined in his chair inside the warmth of the clubhouse and proclaimed this to be the "worst, best day ever." Worst, because of the freezing conditions that included some snowflakes. Best, because of the way the Colorado Rockies swept a doubleheader from the New York Mets. After being stuck in the cold all day, this wasnt too bad a finish. Jordan Pacheco singled home the winning run with two outs in the 10th inning and Colorado rallied from a six-run deficit for a 9-8 victory in the nightcap Tuesday. Right after his game-ending single, Pacheco headed for the sauna. It was the quickest way to warm up. Not that he was feeling the sting of the cold too much after celebrating with his teammates. "Im glad it worked out," Pacheco said. In the opener, Gonzalez homered and Todd Helton hit a go-ahead single as Colorado beat the Mets 8-4 in a game that was delayed 2 hours as 8 inches of snow was removed from the field. Early in the day, Rockies owner Dick Monfort took the field with a shovel and helped clear the way for the game to be played. A crew of team employees lent a hand as well, as did Sandy Alderson, the general manager of the Mets. Players bounced around in the field and blew on their hands as they attempted to stay warm in the nightcap. Pacheco even wore a face mask with only his eyes peeking out. His sharp single through the right side of the infield brought in Gonzalez. Rockies players jumped out of the dugout and mobbed Pacheco after he touched first base. "Games like this are the games that are going to take you far," said Gonzalez, whose team improved to 5-0 at home. Rafael Betancourt (1-0) pitched a scoreless 10th to earn the win. Greg Burke (0-1) took the loss on a long day of chilly baseball. The temperature at first pitch for the nightcap was 36 degrees. Burke pitched carefully to Gonzalez with two outs in the 10th and ended up walking the slugger. Michael Cuddyer then sent a sharp grounder wide of David Wright at third base, and the ball deflected off his glove into left field. A hustling Gonzalez made it all the way to third, setting up Pachecos winning hit. The play originally was scored an error on Wright, but it was changed to a hit moments after the game. "Its been a long day," Mets manager Terry Collins said. That it was. Colorado rallied to tie it 8-all with two runs in the eighth inning, courtesy of two Mets miscues. With two outs and nobody on, reliever Brandon Lyon booted a grounder back to him for an error. After Gonzalez singled, Bobby Parnell was summoned to face Cuddyer, who hit a chopper to shortstopp Ruben Tejada. cheap nfl jerseys. In this cold weather, though, nothing has been routine and Tejada threw high and wide to first base, allowing both runners to score on his sixth error of the season. "I was freezing to death. Its tough, tough to play in that weather but you have to play," Tejada said. "It was a bad throw, a really bad throw. With that situation with the game on the line, its a really bad error." New York relied on seven relievers in the nightcap after Aaron Laffey lasted four innings. Jeff Francis was roughed up for eight runs -- six earned -- in 4 1-3 innings but was taken off the hook when Colorado came back. The Mets opened an 8-2 lead with a five-run fifth in which they sent 11 batters to the plate. Marlon Byrd drove in two with a single, while Justin Turner, Tejada and pinch-hitter Jordany Valdespin also added RBI hits. But no lead is safe at Coors Field and Colorado quickly answered in the bottom half. Backup catcher Yorvit Torrealba delivered a two-run double as the Rockies scored four times. Helton and Troy Tulowitzki were not in the starting lineup for the nightcap. For Helton, it was welcomed news, since he doesnt particularly care for cold-weather games. Tulowitzki was held out as a precaution after he was hit on the left elbow by a pitch from Dillon Gee (0-3), who took the loss in the first game. The All-Star shortstop was brought in to pinch hit with the bases loaded in the seventh, but struck out on three pitches from Scott Atchison. One day after a spring storm postponed the first game of the series, the teams played a pair in frigid conditions. The temperature for the opener was 39 degrees. Wright homered twice for the Mets, then wasnt given much to hit. Colorado pitched carefully to him in Game 2, walking him twice. He also was robbed of a hit by second baseman Josh Rutledge. The teams originally scheduled a split doubleheader to make up Mondays postponement. But all the snow and the late start Tuesday turned it into a traditional twinbill, with just a short break between games. "These games are just grind-it-out games," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. "This speaks volumes about our club." NOTES: Colorado gave leadoff hitter Dexter Fowler most of the day off to rest a tender left foot. He entered as a pinch hitter in the sixth inning of the nightcap and struck out. ... The record low at first pitch in Denver is 28 degrees on April 12, 1997, against Montreal. ... New York LF Lucas Duda came out of the second game in the fifth inning with lower back tightness. ... The Mets failed to homer in a game for the first time this season. ' ' '
