Anichebe hails ‘father figure’ Moyes; Holtby happy with squad

West Bromwich Albion striker?Victor Anichebe has revealed that David Moyes' departure from Goodison Park paved the way for him to move to The Hawthorns on transfer deadline day, Sky Sports understands.

Anichebe, who joined Everton at the age of 10, signed for West Brom for a fee?that could rise to 6 million on 2 September following the Toffees' loan signing of Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.

The Nigeria international, 25, scored 21 goals in 149 appearances in all competitions for the Liverpool-based club, including a career-best six league goals in 26 appearances last term.
