announced today it has secured a long-term partnership with Manchester United
(NYSE:MANU) to bring the club鈥檚 dedicated 24-hour channel, MUTV, to Mainland
China. With the partnership, Sina Sports becomes the exclusive digital media
broadcaster of MUTV in Mainland China. This is also the first time that a 247
channel from any English football club has been broadcasted in the Mainland. The
channel will go live on Sina Sports on January 17th. Sina Sports and Manchester
United will hold a joint press conference in Beijing to commemorate the launch.
MUTV is the official channel of Manchester United, first airing on September
10th, 1998. The channel provides Manchester United fans with player access,

Starting today, Sina Sports will be doing a 10-day countdown-to-launch on
Sina Weibo that will feature highlights and teasers of MUTV content. Manchester
United legends will also send messages to Chinese fans during the countdown
period. Fans will have the chance to win prizes by interacting with Sina Sports
and the club on Sina Weibo during this period by commenting on and sharing the
posts on their own Weibo account.

To commemorate this historic launch, Sina Sports and Manchester United will
be jointly holding a press conference in Beijing on January 17th starting at
8PM. The event will be attended by Manchester United legend Dennis Irwin,
Manchester United fans, and Chinese sports media. Following the program launch,
which is set for 9:30PM, attendees will be invited to stay to for a live viewing
party of the Manchester United vs. Liverpool game.
