WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. -- When push came to shove, Carl Edwards got the best of Brad Keselowski. Edwards, making his first Nationwide start of the season, beat Keselowski on a two-lap dash to the checkered flag on Saturday and won the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International. Austin Dillons blown right front tire brought out the final stoppage of the 82-lap race around the 11-turn, 2.45-mile layout, and Edwards beat his long-time nemesis on a restart for the second straight time in the race. It was the 38th career victory for Edwards, breaking a tie with Kevin Harvick for third on the career series list. "This is huge for us," Edwards said after making his celebratory back flip. "This win means a lot." Pole-sitter Sam Hornish Jr. finished third, followed by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Ron Fellows. Despite a spirited drive from the back of the field, Kyle Busch faded late and finished sixth in his No. 54 Toyota. Elliott Sadler finished 12th and holds a 13-point lead over Stenhouse in the standings. Edwards pulled away on the final restart speeding up through the esses before Keselowski began to close. Edwards missed a shift and Keselowskis Dodge pulled alongside Edwards No. 60 Ford as the two banged in the turn at the top of the front straightaway heading to take the white flag. Edwards then pulled ahead and sped away to a 1.1-second triumph. "He came up the track and hit me, put me in the wall there," Keselowski said. "That kind of took away all of my momentum. I didnt have a chance after that." The two had passed each other for the final lead change in a race six times, with Keselowski getting the better of Edwards four times before Saturday. Keselowski, who watched last years race from the television booth with a broken left ankle and bruised back, started fourth and showed right away hed be a factor. He took the lead in the chicane on lap 12 from teammate Hornish, outbraking him entering the quick four-turn section. A crash entering the chicane involving Cole Whitt and Victor Gonzalez Jr. had forced the previous stoppage on lap 70. The race restarted with 10 laps to go with Keselowski and Edwards on the front row. "Hell be coming and its just a matter of whether we can hold him off," Jeremy Bullins, crew chief for Keselowski, said of Edwards. Keselowski couldnt as Edwards took the lead with a powerful pass to the outside going uphill through the esses. Busch, battling shifter and throttle problems, dropped to sixth on lap 76. Danica Patrick, who had a strong run at Road America in the first road course of the season before getting wrecked by Jacques Villeneuve and finishing 12th, didnt even get the chance to race in her first NASCAR start at The Glen. She was taken out on the first turn of the first lap by Ryan Truex. Truex slid across the grass on the inside of the 90-degree right-hander, came back onto the track in front of Patricks No. 7 Chevy, and she had nowhere to go. "I just feel so bad," said Patrick, who had to retire from the race and finished last. "Thats the sport. Its out of your control." cheap china jerseys . He didnt flinch, singling up the middle to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 3-2 victory over the Marlins on Friday night. "It kind of gets in your head a little bit because you never see that," said Navarro, who notched his first pinch-hit of the season. "You just got to be ready for one pitch and hit it hard. Ive been seeing the ball good and Ive been hitting the ball good." James Loney and Andre Ethier hit two-out home runs for the Dodgers, who improved to 4-9 in their last 13 games. They are 2-2 in one-run games, having played four straight. The Marlins three-game winning streak ended as they dropped two games behind NL East-leading Philadelphia. Rubby De La Rosa (1-0) pitched one inning and was credited with his first major league win in his Dodger Stadium debut despite giving up the tying run in the eighth on Greg Dobbs second RBI single of the game. Clay Hensley (0-1) came on in the ninth and gave up a single to deep shortstop by Casey Blake, who had come off the disabled list earlier Friday. Ethier followed with a single to right and Blake got to third as Mike Stanton mishandled the ball for an error. Matt Kemp was intentionally walked, setting the stage for Navarro, who batted for De La Rosa and lined a 2-0 pitch into centre field after Marlins manager Edwin Rodriguez called in centre-fielder Chris Coghlan to be the fifth infielder. "That would have been a single even with six infielders," Rodriguez said. Blake scored the winning run and saved a run with a diving stop off the bat of Javier Vazquez. "I didnt feel that great. I got behind a lot of guys," he said. "I was effectively wild the first couple innings. It kind of helped me out, kind of kept them off-balance." Vazquez started for the Marlins and gave up two runs and three hits in six innings, walked one and struck out three. Loney gave the Dodgers a 1-0 lead in the second with his second homer of the season and first since April 6, at Colorado, a drought of 45 games. He hit a 1-0 pitch into the lower right field seats with two outs. The Marlins tied the game 1-1 in the sixth on Dobbs two-out RBI single, scoring Hanley Ramirez, who walked. Ethier put the Dodgers back in front 2-1 when he homered with two outs in the sixth in his first start since last Sunday at Chicago. He sent an 0-1 pitch into the Marlins bullpen in right field. The Dodgers tied a season high by turning four double plays, the last in the eighth after the Marlins had tied the game. Stanton popped out in foul territory near the Marlins dugout and Loney leaned over the railing to catch the ball. He casually tossed it to De La Rosa, who failed to realize Gaby Sanchez broke for the plate. Sanchez got caught in a rundown and was eventually tagged out by De La Rosa, who chased him back toward third base. "He was trying. Nobody was covering the base," Rodriguez said. "He tried to score on a heads-up play, but they were paying attention." Notes: The Marlins fell to 18-12 in their 30 games that have been decided by two runs or less. ... Stanton, who came in batting .303, went 0-for-3 with a walk. ... The Dodgers optioned IF Russ Mitchell to triple-A Albuquerque. ...
