ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Angels and right-hander Jerome Williams have agreed to an US$820,000, one-year contract, avoiding arbitration. The Angels made the deal Monday with Williams, the veteran starter who surprisingly excelled in the final weeks of the regular season.
