TORONTO -- A familiar name headlined the CFL player of the week honours on Tuesday. Eskimos running back Jerome Messam was named best Canadian for the fifth time this season. The Toronto native had 19 carries for 115 yards, including a 24-yarder in Edmontons 31-24 win over the Argonauts on Friday. Messam was Canadian of the month in July. The CFLs second-ranked rusher also caught three Ricky Ray passes for 43 yards, including an 18-yarder.
