Veteran goaltending is leading the way for the Niagara IceDogs. Mark Visentin turned aside all 25 shots he faced as Niagara blanked the host Barrie Colts 3-0 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action. Visentin picked up his fifth shutout in his last seven contests, and has given up just four goals during that span. The 19-year-old netminder now leads the OHL with nine shutouts and has won his last 13 starts. Freddie Hamilton scored twice for the IceDogs (34-15-3), who won their fifth consecutive game, and Joel Wigle scored the other. The Colts (29-20-4) failed to register a point for the first time in their past seven matches and it was the first time this season they were shutout on home ice. Mathias Niederberger made 39 saves in a losing cause. Niagara went 1 for 4 on the power play while Barrie failed to score on six opportunities with the man advantage.
