Toronto FC striker Jermain Defoe was one of the reserves named by Portland Timbers coach Caleb Porter as he rounded out his 23-man MLS All-Star team on Saturday. Defoe joins teammate Michael Bradley on the squad. The American international was among those voted into the starting XI by the fans last week. The MLS All-Stars face Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich on August 6 in Portland.
