After BYU loss, Texas fires DC Diaz
It wasn't long until change came to Texas. Frustrations have been building in Austin as the Longhorns have gone 22-16 in the last three seasons.
Now, after losing 40-21 to BYU on Saturday, the first shoe has dropped at Texas.
According to Orangebloods.com, Texas has fired defensive coordinator Manny Diaz.
In addition to the 550 rushing yards allowed, the 679 total yards accumulated by the Cougars is the most ever against Texas since head coach Mack Brown took over in 1998.
Greg Robinson will take over as defensive coordinator for the Longhorns. He ran Texas' defense in 2004 and was serving as a football analyst for the school New Kobe shoes.
