With the 34-year-old Glenn having a very cap-friendly deal with the Redblacks and the club already paying his roster bonus, he could be attractive to clubs in need of a starting quarterback. It was widely believed that Glenn, who split time under centre with the Calgary Stampeders in 2013 and finished with 2,710 passing yards, 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions, would be Ottawas starter. But any question as to who would lead the team into training camp was answered when Ottawa general manager Marcel Desjardins introduced Burris as the "new starting quarterback for the Redblacks." Glenn, a Detroit native, has played 13 years in the league for the Stampeders, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Blue Bombers and Tiger-Cats.
