Justin Verlander is still recovering from core muscle surgery Glenn Gronkowski Jersey , but the Detroit Tigers aren't ruling out the possibility of him missing the start of the season.

When the surgery was announced on Jan. 9, Dave Dombrowski said the Tigers "fully anticipate Justin to participate in spring training and be in a position to compete at the beginning of the 2014 season."

Dombrowski seemed to backtrack a bit during an interview on Thursday.

"He's doing great," Dombrowski said. "I'm not concerned for him being out an extended period. If he misses any time of the season, it would only be a very short time period. I'm not ready to say that he will. But he's doing very well."

Verlander's rehab was initally expected to take six weeks.

And since God is just, He gives you exactly what you deserve: Your life is more difficult now, and you’re on track for eternal separation from God in the next world. And where do you think your eternity will be spent? Unfortunately, Hell is the correct answer. But here’s the good news: You can do something about that right now. God loves you so much that He came to earth in the form of a man. And who was that? Jesus.
