Donald Sterling started yet another legal battle with his wife and the Nike Lebron 12his third when he filed a suitin Los Angeles Superior Court Tuesday.Sterling asked for an injunction to freeze the $2billion sale of the Clippers and for unspecified damages from the his wife, Shelly Sterling, the NBA,commissioner Adam Silverand theClippers organization. Sterling alleges theyviolated corporate law byattempting to sell the franchise to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer in May, and in the NIke Lebron 12defrauding him.MORE: Clippers CEO says Doc Rivers will not coach if Sterling staysDonald and Shelly Sterling (AP Photos)The lawsuit says that by breaking up his trust on June 9th, the private corporation's shares reverted to his name, allowing his wife to sell shares. Shelly Sterling, on the other hand, argues that when Donald was unable to conduct business because he was removed after neurologists declared he was "mentally incapacitated."Mr. Sterling contends in his lawsuit that in doing so, Mrs. Sterlingwas guilty of"fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and inflicted emotional distress on the longtime Clippers owner," as first reported by the Los Angeles Times.The third lawsuit comes while Donald and Shelly argue in probate court as to whether the decision to sell the team was in fact legal.
