One way they look to celebrate their latest
new balance 806 is by releasing a couple of versions that not only rock a jacquard textile upper, but also come equipped with a pretty sweet two-tone fade.Coming in Black and White or Orange and Red, the shoe rocks the aforementioned one-piece jacquard textile upper. Dubbed “Sporting Gentleman,” the
new balance training shoe draws inspiration from Ball and Buck’s signature plaid, which is representative of the Boston-based retail brand and lifestyle. Therefore, the two have taken design cues from traditional plaids of heritage hunting estates and chosen to go with natural, earthy tones of navy and orange to adhere to the brand’s roots.
In 2014, wings+horns dropped a blacked-out
new balance 730v2 in premium black leather, and now we’re being treated to two new deconstructed takes of the same silhouette. “Sand” and “Black” versions are being offered up, imagined with a modern three-piece construction, crafted from laser-cut leather and finished with a whipstitch heel. The shoe remains contemporary via a neoprene mesh sock liner and cozy REVlite sole.
