ame home on Mookie Betts fly to left.THE DA  发帖心情 Post By:2017-3-28 21:48:06

NEW YORK -- The WNBA had to take a couple of triple-doubles off the record books during the past 10 days. There had been only five during the regular season in the 20-year history of the league. It appeared there were two more -- one by Brittney Griner and another by Angel McCoughtry. Both stars had the rare feat taken away by the WNBA after the league reviewed the games and discovered stat errors.Griner had what was the sixth regular season triple-double in WNBA history on July 3 with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks. A statistical review later removed two of the blocks. On Friday, Angel McCoughtry had 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in an OT win over Dallas. But by Saturday morning, that too was stricken from the record book as one of her assists in the second quarter was taken away. The WNBA confirmed to The Associated Press that both stat corrections were accurate.Even losing the triple-double, McCoughtry helped the Dream rise up The Associated Press WNBA power poll this week back into fourth.Temeka Johnson still has the last triple-double, garnering 13 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for the Seattle Storm in 2014.With the two stat corrections, there have been four near misses this season over the past few weeks. New York forward Tina Charles fell one rebound short against the Dream. Connecticut guard Jasmine Thomas also missed by one rebound too.---POWER POLL: Los Angeles, Minnesota and New York have run away from the rest of the league. A look at this weeks WNBA poll:1. Los Angeles (18-1): The Sparks are two wins short of matching Houstons 20-1 start, the best start ever to a season. They play at Chicago, Connecticut and Atlanta this week.2. Minnesota (16-4): The Lynx pulled out of a mini slump, winning two of three this week. In the OT loss to Connecticut, Maya Moore had 38 of her 40 points in the second half and OT. Huge game looming against third place New York on Friday.3. New York (15-6): The Liberty have won five of the past six and are an impressive 9-2 on the road this season with both losses coming in Los Angeles.4. Atlanta (11-9): The Dream followed up their six-game skid by winning three straight to get back into fourth in the playoff chase.5. Indiana (9-11): Stephanie White is looking for more consistent play from her veteran team.6. Chicago (8-11): Lost tight games to Minnesota and New York, need to find more consistency on defense.7. Dallas (9-12): Glory Johnson has been putting up monster numbers lately, averaging 19.5 points and 18.5 rebounds this past week. Shell look to continue her strong play.8. Washington (9-11): Will try to get back on track finishing off a five-game road trip. The Mystics have dropped the first three games and visit Phoenix and Seattle this week.9. Phoenix (8-13): It was a rough week for the Mercury, who dropped three games in seven days. The good news is they have three games before the Olympic break, all at home10. Seattle (7-13): Storm have dropped four of their last five games. Now play three straight at home.11. Connecticut (5-14): Followed up consecutive wins with a loss to Atlanta. Sun have busy week ahead with three games.12. San Antonio (5-15): Kayla McBrides out for the year with a fracture in her foot. Moriah Jefferson continues to shine in her rookie season.---PLAYER OF THE WEEK: For the second time this season, Angel McCoughtry earned AP player of the week honors. She helped the Dream go 3-0 by averaging 23.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Atlanta moved back into second place in the Eastern Conference. Other players receiving votes were Tina Charles, Maya Moore, Nneka Ogwumike and Candace Parker.---MILESTONES: Bill Laimbeer became the seventh coach to win 200 games in the WNBA when New York beat Chicago on Friday night. ... Lindsay Whalen became the first player in league history to have 5,000 points, 2,000 assists and 1,500 rebounds in her career when she crossed the scoring plateau last Thursday against Connecticut.---SAYING GOODBYE TO LJ: The Seattle Storm will retire Lauren Jacksons number on Friday. Jackson played all 12 of her seasons in the WNBA in Seattle and helped the franchise win titles in 2004 and 2010. The Australian star finished with 6,007 career points, which is seventh most in league history.---GAME OF THE WEEK: Liberty at Lynx, 8 p.m. ET on Friday night. The last meeting between the second and third place teams in the league. Finishing in the top two in the standings assures a playoff bye until the semifinals this year. The two teams have split their two meetings so far. New Balance 574 Pas Cher . After Gasquet beat fifth-seeded Ivan Dodig of Croatia 7-5, 6-3, Tsonga followed up with a 6-7 (3), 6-2, 6-2 win against sixth-seeded Edouard Roger-Vasselin in an all-French match. Adidas Superstar Soldes . JOHNS, N. http://www.destockagechaussurepascher.fr/soldes-adidas-superstar-pas-cher/adidas-superstar-blanche.html . This should be celebrated because it will not always be this way. With the amount of money given to players by their clubs these days, it is a wonder that so many of those teams allow the sport to continue to take away many of their assets so they can play for a different team in the middle of their season. New Balance 574 Grise . -- Jimmie Johnson held off a teammate, passed a pair of Hall of Famers, and dominated once more at Dover. New Balance 574 Homme . - Derek Wolfe says hes finally healthy after suffering a seizure in November that doctors now believe was related to the spinal cord injury he suffered in the preseason. ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Hanley Ramirez fielded the grounder to first and saw Mike Trout steamrolling toward home. Ramirez rushed his throw just enough to send it sailing -- and to hand a victory to the Los Angeles Angels.Ramirezs throwing error to the plate on Daniel Navas bases-loaded grounder allowed two runs to score, and the Angels walked off with a stunning 2-1 win over the Boston Red Sox on Thursday night. The Angels rallied in the ninth against Boston closer Brad Ziegler (2-5), loading the bases with one out on singles by Trout, Albert Pujols and Andrelton Simmons.Pinch-hitter Nava then poked a potential game-ending grounder to first, but Ramirezs throw went flying past catcher Sandy Leon to the backstop, allowing Trout and pinch-runner Ji-Man Choi to end Bostons season-high fourth straight loss.We just gave ourselves a chance at the end of the game, Trout said. (Nava) put the ball in play, and he made the defense make a play.Or not, in the case of Ramirez, who grimly accepted responsibility. That cant happen, Ramirez said. I know better, and I know when Ive got Trout on third and a ground ball, but still Ive got to make that one. I kind of threw it and started running before I threw it.Ramirezs years of defensive misadventures are the stuff of nightmares for fans of the nearby Dodgers and the Red Sox.Thats a routine play that Hanley has made many times over, Boston manager John Farrell said. Unfortunately, we didnt execute defensively tonight as a club. ... Knowing the speed of Trout, he burned his throw at first base, and that was that.Ramirezs woes were set up by another shaky ninth from Ziegler, who lost for the second straight day and blew his third save of the season. The closer gave up a ninth-inning homer by Detroits Miguel Cabrera on Wednesday. It didnt work out, but theres a lot of other things you can point to that went wrong, Ziegler said.Ziegler and Ramirez wasted eight innings of seven-hit ball from David Price. The $217 million left-hander outdueled Jered Weaver, who pitched six-hit ball into the sixth inning, but was resigned to another hard-luck loss.I kept battling against a guy that was doing his thing, Weaver said. Hee made some good pitches, but the boys never stopped.dddddddddddd. They kept grinding, and we were able to pull it out there in the ninth. It was awesome.David Ortiz reached base three times as the Red Sox opened an 11-game West Coast road trip with another heartbreaker for their sixth loss in seven games.Cam Bedrosian (2-0) pitched the ninth for Los Angeles.Boston scored in the third when Leon singled, scampered to third on Brock Holts single and came home on Mookie Betts fly to left.THE DAVID IS RIGHTPrice has been inconsistent over the past six weeks, mixing a handful of strong starts with rocky outings. He followed up eight shutout innings against Tampa Bay before the All-Star break by allowing 22 hits in 11 1/3 innings over his past two starts. He was back in form against the struggling Angels, limiting them to seven singles and one walk while striking out six. With the tying run on first in the eighth, Price struck out Kole Calhoun with a 94-mph fastball on his 109th and final pitch.ADIOS PAPIThe Angels paid an entertaining tribute to the retiring Ortiz before the game. A few Los Angeles players and coaches wore sunglasses, gold chains and backward caps while presenting Ortiz with a painting of himself. Ortiz and Pujols shared a long hug and then stood together in center field for the national anthem.TRAINERS ROOMRed Sox: Ortiz will get a rest day this weekend against one of the Angels two left-handed starters, Hector Santiago and Tyler Skaggs.Angels: Manager Mike Scioscia believes infielder Cliff Pennington will be ready to come off the disabled list Sunday as scheduled. He has played only three games since May 12 while struggling with a hamstring injury.UP NEXTRed Sox: Rick Porcello (13-2, 3.57 ERA) is in outstanding form with five consecutive winning starts as he tries to become the fourth 14-game winner in the majors.Angels: Tim Lincecum (2-4, 8.70 ERA) is still struggling mightily in his comeback season. He gave up eight runs and seven hits while getting just four outs against Houston last weekend.
