Veteran free agent forward Vincent Lecavalier has agreed to a deal with the Philadelphia Flyers that, according to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, will be a five-year, $22.5 million contract. The deal will also include a full no-movement clause. Flyers captain Claude Giroux told TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun of ESPN.com that he is pleased with the soon-to-be newest member of his squad. The former Tampa Bay Lightning captain became a free agent this off-season after his former team used a compliance buyout to eliminate his $7.727 million salary cap hit through the 2019-20 season.
