Walker spent the last six years playing junior and professional senior hockey in the Czech Republic. He arrived in the Czech Republic after living in Sydney, KD 5 Home from age 2, on. In 29 games with the Phantoms last season, he scored seven goals and had 27 points for a plus-5 rating. He was also part of the 2013 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. His season came to an end, though, on April 5 when injured his neck during a game against the United States National Team Development Program.
