Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has welcomed Real Madrid's spending spree, believing it will be good for the league.
After watching Barca claim an unprecedented treble of league, cup and Champions League last season, Madrid have already embarked on what seems certain to be a record-breaking summer of transfer activity to try and reclaim supremacy over their rivals.
The £56million signing of Kaka is already wrapped up, while a world-record £80million bid for Cristiano Ronaldo has been accepted by Manchester United.
Madrid are also regularly being linked with moves for the likes of David Villa, Franck Ribery and Xabi Alonso as the Spanish giants emulate the famous 'galacticos' era that Florentino Perez presided over during his first spell in charge of the club.
It remains to be seen which players Madrid are able to draft in by the end of the summer, but Pique believes it is a good thing that the nine-times European champions are attracting some of the world's greatest names to La Liga.
"For me it's going to be very good for the league, it's going to enrich it. Whoever wins the league will have more prestige," said Pique in Marca.
Although Ronaldo's signing has not yet been confirmed by Madrid, it is believed the final details of the Portugal international's contract will be ironed out soon Soccer F50 Sale Online.
Pique played alongside Ronaldo at Manchester United and the Spain centre-back admits Madrid are getting themselves a "complete" player.
"He has everything; he's good up front, is powerful, strong, fast, works hard, takes free-kicks in an incredible way. KD 6 GS Sale Online..he has it all," said Pique, who is currently on Confederations Cup duty with Spain in South Africa Lebron On Sale Online.
"There's a reason why he's been the best player in the world, but one player does not make a team and we will see how Madrid work."
