In August 2010, eight of our engineers and technicians participated in the preparatory and pilot production project at the Coal-to-olefins (CTO) plant of Shenhua Ningxia Coal Group (China’s largest coal mining company). The project lasted nine months. Our firm successfully resolved all technical issues and went above and beyond in fulfilling contract obligations. We were rated highly by the client as well as by domestic and foreign technical service personnel. The CTO project is comprised of components such as gasification, four-in-one(, MTP, polypropylene, power station, air separation plant and public works. The project builds on the dry pulverized coal gasification technology from Siemens and utilizes the Lurgi Process(CO conversion, low temperature methanol wash, methanol synthesis, sulfur recovery and MTP) as well as Lummus polypropylene technology. The Shenhua project is one of the world’s largest CTO projects. In May 2011, six engineers and technicians participated in the Phase II renovation project for Sinopec Yangzi - BASF LLC. We were involved in the startup of production plants for CTA/C (carbon), CTA/A (vinyl acetate, ethylene acid), CTA/M (butadiene ) and CTA/O (n-butanol ). The project lasted eight months, during which we successfully fulfilled all contractual obligations. Our work was again highly rated by all parties involved. The project leveraged patents mostly owned by BASF of Germany. In October 2011, a maintenance team consisting of engineers and senior technicians participated in the Songnan Gas Field maintenance project for Sinopec Northeast Oil and Gas Company. We completed the project in one month. Winterization maintenance is of critical importance to this field, which is strategically important to Sinopec. Songnan Gas Field is rated at 1 billion cubic meters of capacity. It went into operation on November 1 2011. The project is one of the three key capacity building projects for Sinopec in 2008-2009 Fiscal Year. The project is comprised of multiple components such as gas reservoir engineering, gas extraction, ground engineering and gas pipeline, with a total investment of 1.99 billion Yuan RMB. This is the first scheduled major maintenance since the field went operational in 2009. Between December 2011 and February 2012, we successfully completed the maintenance/overhaul project at Sinopec Puguang Purification Plant (PPP). The overhaul covered control systems, online analytical instruments and network communications equipment. A total of 49 items were overhauled during the project. PPP is a strategic client of ours and projects like this contributed directly to our growing expertise in the maintenance and overhaul of production equipment that processes natural gas with high sulfur content. Puguan Gas Field is located in Dazhou Xuanhan of Sichuan Province. It covers an area of 1118 square kilometers and is rated at 891.6 billion cubic meters in capacity. It is China's largest, high-yield mega gas field. The projected total investment is 62.7 billion Yuan RMB, half of which is earmarked for the Dazhou site. Sinopec plans to develop 79 gas wells located at 16 sites. The projected total output amounts to 1.5 billion cubic meters per year for more than 20 years. Puguang Purification Plant (PPP) is Asia's largest natural gas purification and sulfur production plant. PPP’s full capacity is rated at 12 billion cubic meters of purified natural gas per year and 3 million tons of sulfur per year. |
